Rehearsal Dinner Questions...

Rehearsal Dinner Questions...

1: Who gets invited to the RD?
2: Is having hte RD 2 weeks before the wedding acceptable?
3: What exactly happens at the RD?
4: Who traditionally pays for the RD?
5: Can you name places in Nassau or Queens County to have a nice RD for not too much money?

I should note that we are not having an actual rehearsal.

Thanks gals.

1- Usually the people in the Bridal Party are invited to the RD
2- You can have the RD 2 weeks before but probably not the actual rehearsal for the wedding.
3- You eat, give out BP gifts and make a toast
4- Traditionally it's the Grooms family
5- Sorry I live in Suffolk

Hope I helped you

Agree to everything, but you usually have the dinner on the night of your church rehearsal.

As for places in Queens I think some girls have used Giardino's off Northern Blvd

Hope I helped you

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Questions...

I am going to check out N'awlins Grill tonite for our RD. It's in Mineola on Willis Ave. The prices they quoted me were VERY reasonable ... just hope the food is good.

I'll let you know!

Re: Rehearsal Dinner Questions...

1: Definitely the BP and anyone else having role in the wedding ceremony (like readers and your parents), some people invite guests of BP and close relatives, and some also invite OOT guests
2: Traditionally, it takes place right after your rehearsal, but since you're not having one, have it two weeks before
3: eat, give gifts to BP, make a toast, have fun!
4: usually groom's family, but nowadays - any combo of hosts you want (just not you and FG)
5: That I can't help with - I live in Suffolk!

Hope I helped! Good luck!
