Rehearsal dinner recommendations?

Hi everyone!

I'm an out of town bride looking for some rehearsal dinner recommendations. We'll be having ~50 people at the rehearsal, some of them little kids, so we'd like a good balance between upscale/classy but also not too formal. Most of our guests will be staying near Roslyn, so somewhere on the north shore of Nassau or central Nassau would be perfect. We're having an afternoon wedding the next day, and I suspect the food will be somewhat heavy (and lots of it!) so we'd also like something that's not too heavy for the rehearsal dinner.

I'd love any recommendations you have!

There are some great choices in the Roslyn/Manhasset area that have websites that will give you a good idea of menu/ambiance and a phone call will help with pricing - depending upon the type of food you are looking for I recommend looking into Thyme -located in the village of Roslyn, Limani, Bryant and Cooper Steak House, Cippolini, Il Mulino, all on Northern Blvd. and there's an Asian restaurant -can't think of the name-good luck! Hope this helps!
