Rehearsal Dinner Recommendations near Timber Point CC in Great River

Hi, I need some recommendations for RD near TP. We are looking into the Riverview. Any other suggestions to look into? Thanks everyone!

Irish Coffee Pub is really nice - not too far from there - excellent food too.

Hey! The Snapper Inn is right next to Riverview, and beautiful (we brought my dad to brunch there when he came to see TP). They have separate rooms for private functions. The Gatsby in Islip I hear is beautiful, but may be expensive to have a private room for dinner. Beachtree Cafe in East Islip is nice, and has a 2nd floor which can be rented for private functions. Mulberry Street in East Islip is also nice, but it is in a strip mall so it doesn't look as impressive on the outside, but the food is good....I will keep thinking about it! We haven't started looking yet.

my shower was there and I cant rave enough about the service! Everyone is still commenting on how good the food was and how attentive the staff was! And the price from what I heard was reasonable!

Also the Beachtree Cafe in East Islip, there is also a steak place right off of Sunrise Highway in Oakdale.

we had ours at Sonoma Grill which is #1, very easy to get to (on Sunrise Hwy) and #2, very close to TP...it's across Sunrise from the ATtias fleamarket.

Beachtree Cafe in Islip has GREAT food and very nice atmosphere.

There is an Applebee's on Vets Hwy. our fave!

Dave & Buster's!

ETA: if you have it at Riverview, you should get a sweet deal because they area Lessing's place also!!!! It's also decorated the same as TP (same wallpaper and carpet!) What about Sunset Harbour in Patchogue or Snapper Inn in Oakdale. There is also a restaurant in Oakdale on Montauk Hwy (by Dowling) called Rockefeller's, don't know how good it is though.

They just opened 21 Main in Sayville (Steak house - used to be Michaels catering hall). There are a couple of other restaurants in Sayville - Georges, Collin & Main (a little expensive). Good Luck - I think we are going with the Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip (they are the caters for my reception also).
