Rehearsal Dinner Rest. on water?

Can anyone recommend a restaurant to have a small rehearsal dinner at that is in Nassau County and on the water??
I do not want to have it at a country club and most places on the water are too far out in LI--help!!!

I don't know where in Nassau you are looking for but in Island Park - Bridgeview, Paddy McGee's, and Coyote Grill are all on the water!
