you could also pick a spot that has meaning to you and your FH.
We had our RD at the restaurant where he asked me out. It was great bc i absolutely love the place and the food, plus it had alot of special meaning to us. The funny part is that they closed off one section of the restaurant, well the place has 2 rooms downstairs and one of the rooms you can use for a private party. But the funny part is that Dh and i were outside while everybody was getting seated, we greeted people as they went in, so by the time we got inside all the seats were mostly taken and then the one table that had seats available is where we sat and once we sat down i realized it was the same seats we had the night he asked me out there.

true but our first date restaurant was Waterzooi & they dont have a separate room. Which is what i want. That place means alot but so does King Umberto's![]()

I'm most likely having my rehearsal dinner at my house. I plan on asking FMIL to make pernil, arroz con gandules and potato salad. We'll provide some drinks and just hang out. We don't have the money for a rehearsal dinner at a restaurant.

I LOVE Watersooi but that place is crazy busy!
I would either go with a steak house or there is a French Restaurant in Roslyn Village thats beautiful... Bistro Citron They dont have a private party room per say but they do have a room thats a few steps up from their normal dining room.
i'm thinking my parents backyard for a pool/bbq party type deal make it a casual thing and i'm sure we will be broke as a joke by this time next year

Aww King Umberto's was our first dinner date! Too bad it's so far from our church.
