Rehearsal Dinner Suggestions??

I am getting married at North Ritz Club, we are staying in Residence in Marriot in Plainview...and we are having the rehearsal dinner the night before which is Thursday! My question is does anyone have any ideas where to hold the rehearsal dinner? We went to La Familigia and fell in love with it the room, the food, everything! BUT a very big BUT it was just way to expensive they wanted $39 pp and that didnt include liquor we would have to have a separate bar tab for that! I'm going over and beyond for the wedding so I don't want to go super crazy for the rehearsal dinner too b/c we are having about 45 people there. Does anyone have an suggestions where to have it in the Plainview/Syosset area? If not, we will just have it closer to where we live and have it at Irish Coffee Pub....I just think it'll be easier to have it near the hotel! TIA!!!

I am in the same boat. I'm trying to find a place around that area and further south because our rehearsal is taking place at St. Martin of Tours church in Bethpage.

How about Milleridge Inn in Jericho which has tons of great smaller rooms. In Syosset/Woodbury : Buteras, Mims.

I'll try and see if I can think of a few more for you to look at.

Elisa's in North Bellmore, look on their website - they have different party packages. Lowest one is $19.99 p/p. They owner is SO nice. Me and my FH come here to eat and the FOOD IS DELICIOUS!!!! (I'm Italian, and their sauce is GOOD).

It's a nice size place, nothing too big and not too small - check it out.

This sounds great!! I'm in the same boat too. We were thinking of Majors Steak house on Jericho Turnpike. Their cheapest one is $29.95 pp. though. But I'll have to check this out.

A friend had her wedding at St. Ignatius Church in Hicksville (not that far from St Martin's)...she had her RD at Peppercorns in (I believe) Hicksville. Not sure how much she paid, but she said it was delish and service was good!

ETA - Also, there's BK Sweeny's in Bethpage that has a small separate room. I'm a teaching for the Bethpage SD and we use that room for little retirement parties....service was always good and it hasn't been that expensive either.
