Rehearsal Dinner suggestions

Hi girls, can you ladies tell me who you plan on booking with for your rehearsal dinners, and price quotes. I'm hoping to find a place that has a separate space for private affairs, and is $50pp or less if thats possible. So far I have Bar Frites, and Milk and Sugar on my list. Any suggestions and info on those two also would be helpful. Thanks in advance everyone!

Hey I had mine at the Victorian Room ( Milk and Sugar's catering hall across the street) it was awesome! The staff was great, the food was plentiful and delicious, we were in the big main room, and it was all ours. I would definitely recommend them. Three courses, a full cake as well as cannolis and cookies. I paid $35pp, minimum of 30 people and children were free ( they make whatever the kid wants to eat) Hope this helps!

Omg thank you! I honestly thought they'd be more! Does the 35pp include an open bar with just sodas, beer, and wine? Or is that extra?

Thats great. Was there a cash bar? or an additional charge for beer & wine?

Omg I LOVE bar frites!! I'd love to have my dinner there but the actual rehearsal is gonna be on the south shore so I feel Bar Frites is so far. How are you managing to consider two places so far away? I would love any excuse to be able to do Bar Frites!

Re: Rehearsal Dinner suggestions

We're not really having our rehearsal until the day of our wedding at the venue, but we want a dinner the night before as a thank you to our bridal party, and out of town guests. I'm not really from LI so I have no idea how far it is, but according to my FH, bar frites is really close to most of his family and friends. Another plus is his dad works with lots of people from the food and beverage industry, so he can possibly get us discounts from these places, which is a big reason why its on my list.
