Anyone who lives near Westbury, Jericho, Syosset, Hicksville, Woodbury do you know of any restaurants for rehearsal dinners? I was thinking paparazzi but not sure.

paparazzi is great for rehearsal dinners. my firend had hers there and the food was excellent! they used the party room in the back.

I had my RD at the Milleridge Inn in Jericho and it was awesome! We had a private room upstairs for 40 people on a Friday night and we had a 3 course dinner plus dessert, unlimited wine and beer for about $25 per person! They have rooms for all sizes and the food and service was awesome - i highly recommend it. Good luck!

For when??? I would say Peppercorn's in Hicksville, but if your having it the night before your wedding on the 5th, we already have it booked. FH and I love Papparazzi. We have a GC from my brother for dinner there. I am actually going to look into that place for my stepsons graduation party in June.

What about Tesoro on Old Country Road in Westbury? I've never been there but I heard the food is very good, but I know what kind of seating they have...

hmm, I need to check Tosoro out. What about Chinese Restaurants? Has anyone parties from those restaurants? Are prices much more reasonable with chinese restaurants? Just Curious or about the same?

JuJu, how many people are you talking?? Tesoro is nice and they have a sorta private little room in the front. We went there for my stepmothers 60th birthday and sat in the front room. There were about 20 of us. The food is great, if you like italian.

There is a very good chinese buffet in Hicksville on Old Country Road. They have a private room and it very nice. I saw a bridal shower in there one day. And the price is reasonable.

Man I just keep thinking of places. On Carmen Avenue in Westbury, there is a place called Ristorante Venere. It is very good and I think they could accomodate a private party. FH and I actually looked at it and the food was great.
In East Meadow, there is Major's Steakhouse. They have a private section upstairs. We saw a 50th birthday party there one day.
If I can think of any more I'll post them.
Oh, On Hempstead Turnpike in East Meadow, there is a place called Fabio's. They have excellent food. My friend almost had her rehearsal dinner there.
In North Bellmore there is a place called Elisa's. They can close off half the restaurant and accomodate a private party. Their food is excellent. FH and I go there often.

My mom went to check out a chinese place and she said it was about $13 pp plus a $100 room fee if you want the room on the side to yourself. I am not sure if she went to the one Hicksville on Old Country Road or one in Levittown by King Kullen. Juju I can ask my mom if you want.
We are doing our RD at the Olive Garden in Carle Place. It comes to about $15 pp. We don't have big drinkers in our BP and those that do drink don't drink beer or wine so for us to get unlimited beer and wine isn't worth it.

Bella Napoli does a nice job for the money. We have had a few Bridal & Baby showers there. Unfortunately the parking is not that hot & the area is a bit out of the way. It is on 109 near Rt 110 in Farmingdale.
I like Caffe Spasso In Garden City/Westbury or Caffe Baci, also in Westbury. They are both on Old Country Road.

you should check with the Westbury Manor... since you are getting married at a Scotto place, they should give you a great deal! That's what I'm thinking of doing, since my church is in westbury also!

Thank you Gals! The funny thing is that I have been to most of these places. I just needed you girls to brainstorm. Hee Hee. As for the Mexican food, I am from Tx and NY mexican food does not compare to TX Mex food. Sorry. Although, I do like ON the Border. Thanks again for the ideas.
