Re: rehearsal dinners

we're probably going to have it at the hotel that we're all staying at after the wedding, so it'll be like the whole wedding day for real!!

We are thinking about Dave & Buster's since nieces & nephews will be included (although not for the wedding) - we wanted to have something fun to entertain the kiddies.

Brennan's in Hauppauge. They were just bought by the company that runs Lands End in Sayville. Great food and atmosphere...especially if you like Irish pubs. Pretty reasonable prices and great food.

Tutto Pazzo in Huntington. The food is great and they are so nice there! Its this Thurs, so I'll tell you how it goes! They are also setting up the room for me by 3 so I can come by and put together my centerpieces and stuff I have planned. It doesn't start until 8, so I thought that was nice of them to get the private room ready for me that early!

Milleridge Inn in Jerico this Friday, that's if Hurricane Isabelle behaves and the power's not out!
We have a private room upstairs for 40 people, with unlimited beer and wine and a 3 coruse dinner plus dessert.

MY FIL's just decided to have it at their house b/c we have a lot of people coming. They loooove to entertain so I know they'll do a great job. I think with everyone that's coming, it will be nice and intimate and more social. My friend had a big RD at the Bonwit over the summer & it was very segregated. No one really got up and talked unless you knew each other or were sitting at their table. We wanted ours to be less formal.
