As far as I know the only people invited are the bridal party and your immediate fam, like mom dad, brother, sister and maybe grandparents.
agreed....

Re: Rehearsal Dinners Q's
Usually some places require a $100 deposit, and usually the immediate family along with Bridal Party and their Sig. others are invited.

Re: Rehearsal Dinners Q's
I'm pretty sure most require some sort of deposit to hold the place.
I invited most OOT guests but not all. DH's family is from Europe so we invited all those who flew in from his side, and my close family.

Re: Rehearsal Dinners Q's
We left a small deposit (i can't remember right now but $100 - $200). We are inviting all of the out of towners because i feel like it's the right thing to do if they will be there on Friday. Luckily, most people are coming in on Saturday morning

So YOU book it (meaning the couple), NOT the FMIL? Boy, do I have to get on this. . .

Traditionally, the IL's pay. It's easier for us to just do it on our own, plus then we get to do whatever we want!

Re: Rehearsal Dinners Q's
We left a $300 deposit.
We have about 80 people coming in from OOT so there is no way we are inviting all the OOT guests. We would be having two weddings.
I think if there is only a few then yes, otherwise you shouldn't. Most of my friends weddings, and i have been to 15 all over the NE, have not invited the OOT guests. One did, it was great, but I think it was unnecessary.

Re: Rehearsal Dinners Q's
I am leaving it up to FMIL to book and set guest list. I am giving her my oot family members bc there aren't many, most live in town, and bridal party, the rest is up to them.

Re: Rehearsal Dinners Q's
1. I have no clue
2. I'm only having the bridal parties plus FH's aunt and uncle and my aunt and uncle b/c 90% of the BP are cousins so I want their parents there too. But thats it.

Re: Rehearsal Dinners Q's
im setting it up just to insure that its at a nice place and theres enough food options for all parties involved. if someone else offers to pay for it after the fact than even better!! im not gonna assume though.
