Any suggestions? FMIL wants to start looking into this (FIL's are paying for it).
I checked Cooperidge Inn, they are pretty pricey. Indian Island Country Club was a little better. THe best price so far was East Wind Restaurant/Bar at about $24 pp.
Any better deals out there for a RD package? I guess we want it at a place thats somewhat nice...

We had our rehearsal dinner in Mattituck @ the Old Mill inn. It was a little pricy but worth it.
We also looked at The Meeting House Creek Inn. It was very affordable and had a great view.
hmmm I don't live to far from there and it's tough there isn't much around.. atleast not much suitable for a RD.
All that is coming to mind is Truffles in Wading River, or if you wanted to head a little further east there are some nice places in like Westhampton Beach.

Thank you! I live out on the North Fork and I have never been to either of those. I will look into them!
We also looked at the Jamesport Manor Inn. We didn't get to check out Portobello but I heard that's very good as well.

I don't know if it's the kind of place you're looking for, or how many people you're looking to accommodate, but I absolutely LOVE O'Malley's in Southhold...awesome burgers and simple food. Service is quick, so shouldn't be an issue not doing a pre-fixe and just ordering off menu.
There are few hotels out there you could try they just built a new hilton hotel right across from tanger recently and they do catering...

Hi how about Diggers In Riverhead it has good food and they re did it a few years ago and it has a private room for parties.........oh and i love there bbq sauce

That's too funny! Hmm...maybe I passed your church the other day too. We stumbled across a really pretty one one a side street and thought it was so nice and peaceful overlooking a vineyard.

Ooo that is probably Our Lady of Ostrabrama in Cutchogue. On Depot Lane? We looked into that church too. Very pretty.

Hey, I actually looked at their website today... but they have no photos of the inside and I couldn't find any! Is it somewhat nice inside?

Did you try Village Crossroads on rte 25 and edwards ave in calverton, not too far there? there is J R Steakhouse is in calverton and the carving board.

I dont live out east but FH has a house in Greenport. We love O'Malley's too! Also Ciminos in Southold on Main Rd. , very good food. Of couse there is Claudios. and FH's favorite- Orient by the Sea.
