I am having the hardest time finding a restaurant to have the rehearsal dinner somewhere in Nassau/Queens (nearer to Nassau part) that will allow me to bring in a cake from an outside bakery or anything..And most of them can't make a grooms cake for me themselves either. Anyone have ideas?????????? thanks

That's the most bizarre thing ever, most of them will just try to charge a slicing fee...I'm sorry, I don't know of any restaurants....

Donovans on Bell Blvd allows an outside cake, as long as it's provided by a bakery (not homemade)
The restaurant is in Bayside in Queens...don't know if that's do-able for you.
