Rehearsal scare
Ok, just sharing a bit of a scare I had last night. Anyone who booked their rehearsal a while ago with their church might want to double check on their arrangements!
Basically, we arranged ours MONTHS ago, because it's a holiday weekend, we're planning from out of town, etc., etc. Both my mom and I called several times to confirm and were assured everything was all set.
Then last night I get a call from a different woman who apparently has all the info now for summer brides at my church and she wants to schedule our rehearsal (!!). I told her it was already booked, from ages ago, and she says, 'Oh, I don't see anything here' (!!). We went through this whole back and forth about how I'd spoken with this other woman to arrange it (this woman was saying they didn't even DO rehearsals the day I'd booked!!). Thankfully, I stayed calm and didn't totally lose it, but explained how we'd already told our entire BP, but a deposit down for the rehearsal dinner that night, etc, etc. So finally she says she was going to call the original woman and then calls me back in 15 minutes to let me know everything's ok and the rehearsal stands as when I had set it up. WHEW!!!
But the moral of the story is to double check and make 100% sure, if you haven't done so already!
