is there a generally accepted time? i wasnt thinking of it before and already booked for 5:30.. with dinner/drinks to follow.. is that too early?? thanks!!

ours was at 7:00 but thats the time the church gave us, sooo if your church was ok with 5:30 than i dont think thats too early

My friend's was at 7, because everyone was working until 5. I plan to have mine at 7 also.

Originally I had mine for 7:00 but then I figured that since we're doing dinner after it might run a little late so now it starts at 6:00 with dinner after. We're doing ours on Wednesday night when the wedding is on Friday so people will have work the next day.

ok.. so i'm not that far off.. we are also having ours on a thursday/wedding on sat. so people will have work the next day as well.. but now i'm thinking some people will have to leave work early on thursday to make it by 5:30.. maybe i should bump it back to 6.. but i already sent out the invitations! omg.. lol..

this is what i will prob be doing as well since mine will prob be a weeknight

Mine is at 6 and dinner is at 7. Getting married at the RH so they do it at their convenience.

our rehearsal is going to start @ 7:30. i thought it was a little late, but it makes sense since so many people will not be taking off of work that day and they'll be coming from work and such. and now that i see a lot of you grls start at 7 too, i feel better about it, yayyy

it depends on the time of the rehearsal at church or wherever...
also if its a week night i would do later.... cause ppl work till 5 or 6
