Rehearsal Time? Please help decide-(kinda long)

I'm having my rehearsal/dinner the night before my wedding, but I am not sure what time I should have it.
The options are 6:00pm, 7:00pm & 7:30pm.
- Is 6:00pm too early (I'm in Lake Ronkonkoma & have people coming from Staten Island & Nassau County) to expect people to get to the church on a day that some of them may work? (not the ones from Staten Island.. but the ones from Nassau County will probably be working that day)
- Is 7:00pm better? But then the dinner won't start until 7:45-8:00ish and will most likely be at least 2 hrs, if not more... which means I won't get home until after 10:00pm if I'm lucky! My family/friends like to talk! lol!

I don't want to be out late the night before my wedding. I just don't know what to do.
Unfortunately for me, 6:30pm is booked already! That would have been perfect.

My FH says to do whatever makes me feel better, my best friend, dad & brother say 6:00pm and my mom & sister say 7:00pm.

Well, my wedding is on the Friday before the 4th, so the rehearsal dinner will be on that Thursday.
I think I am going to do 6pm.

Duh! And I totally looked at the calendar too, just to see what date the wedding fell on. Excuse my brain fart. I still think 6pm is best.

If it helps, I'm also getting married the Friday before a major holiday (Memorial Day) and am having my rehearsal Thursday at 6pm. I want to get some rest!
