Rehearsal...when?
When do you find out when your rehearsal is? I'm assuming the day before, but I just want to be sure and know what time

Rehearsal...when?
Some churches list options right on their site. I am looking to do our rehearsal on the Thursday before our Saturday wedding so that we can host out of town guests the night before.

Rehearsal...when?
Some churches don't think they are necessary and you have to ask if you want one.

Ive spoken to FH and our officiant about this and rehearsal is typically done about a half hr before the ceremony. Usually for venue ceremonies the whole ceremony isnt rehearsed its jsut a walk through so ppl know where to stand

But FH and I are not seeing one another until I walk down the aisle. So how is that going to work?

You may be able to do it separately. Since its not an actual ceremony reh but rather just where to stand and walk. But since the bride enters last and walks to the groom, you may not need to go? I know a few friends that got married at the venue didn't reh. at all because someone at the venue was just able to tell them when to walk

Whew!! I am hoping that is the case with us. I don't think I have to practice. I know exactly where to walk and to whom =)

Rehearsal...when?
My church left it up to me and my FH. We are getting married on a Saturday night and we chose to do a Thursday rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. That way I can relax the night before w some wine!

If you want to do a rehearsal you can ask your venue. I'm getting married on a Friday so we schedule our rehearsal on a Thursday before, and we also decided to just do our rehearsal dinner at the venue since they have a separate room/pub upstairs (so at least we will have a different atmosphere than at the wedding).

St. Rocco's. The reason why the priest wants it the night before is because since we are getting married on Sunday we cannot have a full mass, only a ceremony and he wants us to receive The Eucharist as close to our wedding as possible.

Wow! I really thought it would be a generic answer. Guess nothing with wedding planning is alike...lol. I'll have to check with the church...maybe I'll give FH that task
