Rehersal

Just a question..if any brides who are doing ceremony at RH know....I am having my ceremony and reception at the Riviera. I assume there is no rehersal at the RH....What did everyone else do?

Re: Rehersal

Most RH allow you to rehearse the day of and I wasn't comfortable with that so, we will rehearse at the RD. The restaurant we booked has a private room with a patio off of the room. We will use the patio and rehearse out there. Thank god it's covered (you never know). Maybe you should look into something like that.

Re: Rehersal

I've been in at least 10 wedding parties (none in churches) all have been at RH and all rehersals were done 1/2 hour prior to ceremony.

Really not much to rehearse, you stand here and hold his arm and wait for me to tell you when to walk and where to stop...DONE

My best friend's wedding was in 2004 at the Riviera. Basically, they were SOOOOO great at guiding us on the day of, we didn't need a rehearsal. I think it would be helpful to meet with the officiant though, just to run through the ceremony. This can be done quickly at your RD. The reason I say that is, she had an interfaith ceremony and had NOOOO idea that she was going to have to repeat stuff in Hebrew!

Re: Rehersal

yes, riviera told us that because they have events all weekend, we can rehearse Tues Wed or Thurs. I want to just rehearse elsewhere on Fri or Sat, instead.

Our wedding and reception are in a hotel on a saturday. So we are going to reserve a private room at a restaurant for the rehearsel dinner on Friday.
