probably at FIL's house because FH and I cannot afford to have one, we are possibly considering not having a dinner.

A backyard BBQ at my parent's house catered by my dad.... LOL!! FFIL was complaining about how much this was going to him, so we decided on a BBQ. He, of course, does not realize that the cost will probably be the same as going out to a restaurant. Oh well!
