Rehersal Dinner

Rehersal Dinner

Looks like Mamma Lombardi's is a bit out of our price range per person for RD and too far for FH's side of the family. Any suggestions for a RD location near Bay Shore/Babylon area? FH and I were interested in Gemelli's, how much are they per person?

We did a mini rehearsal dinner b4 the church w/ just our parents & when we were there, there was a real RD in a private room at Goccia D'Orro in Lindenhurst, on Wellwood, down the block from OLPH. The food is FABULOUS & it is reasonable. They are very nice there.

We did our real RD at Wantagh Inn.

Check out my full review on Goccia:

Take at look at La Bella Palermo in Babylon Village which is (basically) across the street from Gemellis. I think their food is excellent and they may be more reasonably priced.

I have to tell you, not only are you getting married on my birthday... but you are making me nervous because you are getting married before me and planning RD already!! I have barely thought about it!!

Anyway... nice fun place, great food, good time & price:
Charlie Brown's (Commack or Ronkonkoma)
I had an engagement dinner instead of party there, and we had a blast!! There were 20 people, and each of them raved about the food. In total, with drinks and dinners and appetizers, I think we spent a under $1000

Or even Coopersmith's in East Islip

La Bella Palermo is supposed to be great! I'm not sure what your price range is, but I do know that Gemelli's is pricey to eat at on a regular day so I'm sure it's no bargain for a RD. Here are some other suggestions:
Carriage House
The Bridge
Captain Bills
Molly Malones
Fat Fish
Gatsby's
Tellers

It's one of my GM's birthday on that day too! What a great day!

And I'm just a lunatic, don't mind me planning my RD already, I just like to have things done, like, yesterday!
