Rehersal Dinner ?

OK, was just discusing this , with a friend of mine who is married allready , she says the week b4, I say a few days?

Which is it ?

It depends on your church.
Some give you a certain date and are not flexible, so you are forced.
I prefer a couple of days. That way the routine is fresh in the heads of your bp, and easier for any oot's. We are going to do ours the fri or the sat before the wedding. We don't have the option of the week before since I don't live there, and neither does half the bp.
Call the church Tone and see if they have restricitions as to when you can rehearse.

ditto that..i hope its a couple of days i have dancers that have to reherse also ....i know im so dramatic i want all oooohhhh and aaaahhhh at my wedding

I think we are doing the day before the wedding because important family cant come in till then.

most people do a day before
and if they are getting married on a Friday, they usually do the saturday before

Im getting married on a Friday but am doing the rehearsal the day before(Thursday evening) since some the the bp is OOT

We are going to try to do it the night before the wedding, which would be a Friday night. With the holidays and all, we wanted to let everyone enjoy their time with their families then come down for the wedding.

we're getting married on a sunday so our rehearsal will either be that thursday or friday (so a few days)

Most people do it the night before. In my case, my Wedding is a Sat night at the Hall so the rehersal will be the Wed before.

Getting married on a Sunday. . .so it will be the Friday before and that was the decision of the church. HTH

we are doing it 2 weeks b4 b/c my church only does it on saturdays and the saturday b4 my wedding is fh cousin so we kinda had no choice.

It depends on what you want. Some girls do it the day before, or two days before the wedding, and some prefer to do it a week before the wedding.

Check with your ceremony site to see what is available for you.

We're having ours the week before, because IMO it's too hactic to have it the night before the wedding. There's so much stuff to do, the last thing I want to think about is the Rehearsal Dinner.
