I really need help on this. Everyone seems to have thier own opinions on what I should do. For the rehersal dinner do you invite just the bridal party and both your's and FH parents? Or do you extend the invitations to immediate family and immediate family from out of town. Please guide me on this.

Re: Rehersal Dinner Etiquite
Is there a proper way of handling this out there or is it basically up to your descretion. My FH is not that close to his extended family where as I am. So I feel guilty because there are Aunts and Uncle and my grandparents that I almost feel will be hurt if they are not invited. But then I feel that it just gets out of control and turns into mini wedding. I am having my mom's one sister and her husband because their girls are in my bridal party, but then my mom's brother is flying in from Giorgia so does that mean I have to invite him or feel bad if I don't? It just keeps going with questions like this.

Really it is completely up to you. We are having an out of town wedding. So everyone is coming in from out of town. We had to cap it or the $$$ will be out of control. I would 1st see what you want to spend and then go from there.

Re: Rehersal Dinner Etiquite
We are doing only BP and parents. Otherwise it would be crazy . Our OOT guests are welcome to join us for happy hour that night but the dinner is too much $$$ to invite everyone.

Re: Rehersal Dinner Etiquite
we are having a small wedding so we are just having the BP and our parents...otherwise HALF the wedding would be at the rehersal dinner!

We are pretty much doing the same thing.
We need to see first, though, exactly how many OOT guests will be there. It could get out of hand and I don't want it being a mini-wedding.
But FOR SURE it will be BP, their dates, parents, all people involved in the mass and our Priest will be invited but I don't know if he will come.. we'll see.
