Is anyone else having floral centerpieces for the rehersal dinner? I wouldn't want to spend money here personally, but my mother in law to be said she feels very strongly about it, so I'm going with the flow.

I'm not but its a cute idea. If I was willing to spend more money I would but you can always do something simply small garden flowers in a vase on the tables.

Totally not needed but if you have to because of FMIL keep it very simple.

I had my rehearsal last Wednesday- we had no centerpieces- the food was great- everyone had fun- centerpieces for RD are nice, but not worth the $$ in my opinion. People can see beautiful centerpieces a few days later at your wedding.

I agree that its not really worth it and the money can be better spent on other things. If your FMIL is realllly dead set on them then A. she can pay for them or B. Go to michaels and buy nice vases and a few flowers...DIY.
