I've started looking into places for the RD and so far have come up with Seventh Street Cafe and City Cafe in Garden City, George Martins in RVC, Blue Moon and La Parma, can anyone else suggest any other places, in the Garden City, Rockville Centre area? or anyone where close in between? My church is in Hempstead....thanks!

I love Watterzooi but I don't think they will do a private event on a weekend night (friday or saturday) Novita is next door. Delicious as well. If you want to do a casual RD, Grimaldi's is in Garden City. (the famous original Grimaldi's is in Brooklyn and people line up around the block for that pizza) Angelina's in Lybrook is delish and has a private room. Davenport Press in Mineola
