does anyone have suggestions? I called Argyles, it is great food but they dont do partys. I would like to go to Tellers in Islip, but its pretty expensive. Any suggestions? Thanks so much!

I dont know your budget, but Giamelli's is a beautiful restaurant with outrageously good food and La Grange is also pretty nice and a bit more reasonable in price.

You have Gemelli's, Pier 44, Babylon Fish and Clam, and the Clam and Oyster Bar. I think the first three have the best food. There are a few places in North Babylon or Deer Park too.

You also have Peter's Pasta which is really good.

Peter's Pasta, The Post Office, and I don't know if they do private parties, but we get lunch from Il Vellagio, it is on Deer Park Ave in Babylon.
There is also Vinnie's Mulberry Street.
I have heard not so great things about the Grange from a coworker.

mmmmm....Peter's Pasta is so good!!! A bit pricey though if you are having a lot of people but you and fh should check it out for dinner one night. I doubt you will be disappointed.

We're having ours at the Library Cafe in Farmingdale, which is the same menu as the Post Office Cafe. We loved it when we tested it out, so I can post a full review when I'm back from my honeymoon! I think you'd be happy with the Post Office, too.
