We're having a small rehersal dinner, just the ushers and bridesmaids. We'd like to have it in the city at an Italian family style restaurant.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Preferebly on the East Side.

You can go to Tony Naploi. It is a family style and the food is great and not expensive. It is located on 2nd ave/between 83th and 84th. Or Cortina is excellent too on 75th and 2nd Ave Good Luck

Carmine's in Time Square is awesome. Everything is served family style.

I am not a huge fan of family-style but you can also try Osso Bucco 93rd and 3rd never been there but I always see people with the bags..

You should also look into places that are willing to set a price for dinner and drinks. They will usually run $65-95 per person.

I had my RD at the Carmines in Time Square and they did a fabulous job. The one uptown has a private room which is a nice plus.
