Hi ladies Ok...I need your opinions! My guest list for the rehersal dinner is already up to 50..so I want to have it the week before my wedding...first..do you think that's ok. I'm gonna be going crazy the week of and figured I'd rather do it the week before. My question is, do you think it's ok to do an afternoon rehersal like 1 or 2pm and then do the 'dinner' part after at like 3??? MY FILs say whatever FH and I want is ok! They want what we want!!!

I guess it would depend on the day of the week and how far people have to travel to come. Most of my wedding party is 3+ hours away so for me that wouldn't be practical. Otherwise it seems like agood idea, you want to relax before the big day.

I don't see why not, if everyone else is game. My only question is, will your church/reception hall let you in that early in the afternoon? As long as it all works out, I say GO FOR IT!

My rehersal is the Sunday before at 1:00 to be followed by a rehersal lunch. I think it's fine.

i think it depends on what the church says...if you are getting married in a church that is...
if you are getting married at the hall and need to do a rehersal run of it usually the dinner is after that

I was thinking of doing it the Saturday before at let's say 2ish (depending on if there is a wedding or not) then the 'dinner'at like 3 - afterwards, I figured it would be fun if we went out and did something..whoever wants to - like bowling or something along those lines! Something silly and fun to get everyone psyched!

we had to have our rehearsal at 12:30 so we did our 'rehearsal lunch' around 1:30-2. I think its fine. You have to do what works for you!
