Send out written invites OR if you want, you can do Evite if they're all PC/Internet Savy.

I am not sending out invites but I have gotten a few in the past from other weddings. It's up to you. We are having a small dinner so there wasn't any need. You could easily print them yourself for cheap.

we sent them...made them up ourselves, they were really pretty...although they were not really invites-because I expected everyone to be there..but it was all the info they needed...places,times to meet, hotel info for them...directions...it went over well

My FSIL sent them out, so I suppose you are supposed to

We printed our invites ourselves, I def recommend it. They give your guests the what time/where info so there's no questions or misunderstandings. Just something simple on nice paper.

Otherwise you'll have people calling you up the day before asking 'what time is it again?'. Plus it takes less time to print something up and stick them in the mailbox then it does to make all those phone calls. Having the invitations sent out made things much less stressful then just going by word of mouth.

I want to send out invites. It just feels nice to get mail and it's a party not a bill! I will get ones that look something like my invitations

I sent out very simple invites - I got them from a card store and just wrote them out - it's a small RD.

I probably won't send out invites b/c the whole BP is family. But if money allows me I may send them.

FMIL did them. Got paper from Michaels.

My FMIL hand wrote the invites on 'sort of nice paper' and sent them out. My mom thought I was crazy about this, but his mom is inviting half the family!

I sent out invites, but honestly, getting the BP to RSVP was worse than waiting for wedding RSVPs. My RD is the day after tomorrow and half his BP, half of mine, and one of each of our siblings haven't responded.

I am just going to tell people, it is the night before the wedding, the BEST BE THERE!!!

Re: Rehersal dinner invites?

I called and also sent out evites. Needed to cut cost and my BP would have just threw it out or lost it and than call me a million times anyway for the info like with the wedding info
