Hi Girls, Looking to put together a list of places to have my rehersal dinner so I can start calling and pricing things out. Our ceremony is at Our Lady of Grace in West Babylon, so I am looking for something in the area. Problem: Our reception is at Lombardi's on the Bay, so we are trying to stay away from an Italian restaurant; which knocks a large majority of options off our list. We also want somewhere that has a private room.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. So far my list consists of: Irish Coffee Pub- East Islip Post Office Cafe- Babylon

Do you like Mexican? Don Ricardos in Babylon is AWESOME and they have a pretty large upstairs area that can fit a BP... Or there's always Argyle Grill and Horace and Sylvia's! HTH!

The Bulldog in Amityville is great. They have a huge private room upstairs with an outside deck and the food is great.
Captain Bill's in Bay Shore has a few good size RD sized rooms too. Their prices are pretty goo considering they are right on the water.
Also try Palmer's on Fulton St in Farmingdale or even Carriage House in Babylon.

The food at the Irish Coffee Pub is AWESOME!
I'm actually going to call them today to see if they still have an opening for my RD

I have heard Don Ricardos is awesome, but FH's grandfather and my Dad are the pickiest eaters on the planet. I'm not sure they would go for it...
I LOVE the Argyle. It is my favorite restaurant in the village next to Cafe Il Villagio. Not sure if they have a private room available though :(
Thanks for all your suggestions girls. I'm definately going to look into the Bulldog, and I just added Captain Bills to my list (love that place as well)

They have a private room I believe also in Lily Flannigans on Deer Park Avenue in Babylon
