Rehersal Dinner Question

Rehersal Dinner Question

'08-er crashing!

I'm kinda far off to be thinking about my rehersal dinner, but this is a big deal for my FMIL b/c she feels like 'everyone knows the groom's family pays for it' and she wants it to be nice. She is already talking about it.

Thing is, a lot of my bridal party have jobs in the city or in Western Nassau and my church is out in Suffolk. It would be so much more convenient if I could do the rehersal on Sunday before my Friday wedding. Anyone know if the church will do it on a Sunday? I'm not Catholic (FH is) so I don't know how it works or if that conflicts with any masses.

Thanks!

i really think it depends on your church. My church does rehearsals on Thurs and Fri nights...Call your church and ask

Our church definitely won't do rehearsals on Sunday, so I would def recommend giving them a call to check their policy since it seems to vary. My fingers are crossed for you!

Definitely give your church a call--every church has a different policy.

Re: Rehersal Dinner Question

Well, I know for a fact my church did not do it on a Sat or a Sun. They offered it during the week and on Fridays, so we had no other choice but to do it on a Friday. The church was St. James in Seaford [really Bethpage] and our RD immediately following was at the Lucky Duck in Garden Vity, so it was maybe a 20 min drive w/ traffic.
And we did it the firday [one week exactly] before our wedding!

HTH good luck!
