Rehersal Dinner Question

Does anyone know of any good restaurants around Centerport or Huntington (getting married at the Thatched Cottage)? I wanted a place that has a private room and offers packages. Thanks girls!

I love Blue Honu, but I am not sure if they have a catering room, or how it would work there.

I'm not sure how far you are willing to travel, but i've been to a few RD's @ meehan's (huntington village). Pier 441 (right next door to TC) is also on our list of possible RD locations. The owners were really sweet and their room in the back is really pretty.

how about millpond? They have a beautiful view and great food! And theyr'e right next door to Thatched Cottage!

Blue Honu actually doesn't do regular dinners anymore, they only have a bar menu.

And my FAVORITE place in Huntington is Restaurant Joanina (also known as Renaissance)...its' the most beautiful ambiance inside and it's very intimate. They definitely do private parties.

Mill Pond House right next to the Thatched is good. They have a private room upstairs.

There is also Nocello's in Northport on 25A at the bottom of the hill by Dairy Barn.

Blue Honu still does dinners, but know they are known as Honu Kitchen and Cocktails. They do have a private or semi-private party room depending on the size of your party. I do believe it holds between 60-70 people and it is upstairs overlooking the rest of the restaurant. Their regular menu is considered a tasting menu (larger than an appetizer, but smaller than an entree), but I'm sure they have party menus available.
