We are getting married on site and do not have a rehersal until the day of, which I will be no part of. I was planning on having a RD, my FH says we don't need one. What do you think?

We didn't have a rehearsal either, but still had a RD. My in-laws called it a 'prenuptial dinner.' We all wanted one because it gave everyone time to meet each other and my DH and I had a chance to meet with those who came from out-of-town.

its still a good idea to have one, all the people in the BP get to meet again, and you give them the BP gifts then
