Rehersal Dinner Questions?

I am having the rehersal dinner at a restaurant, do I need to do favors, and a centerpiece, it will be 30 people and we will be a t one long table. I already made menu cards, do I need to do anything else?

Well, if you want to you can but it is not necessary and no one will expect anything like that.

The dinner is really to thank the wedding party and your parents and family members for helping you throughout your engagement, so you usually give out your wedding party gifts there. Also you can give the readers (if you have any) a gift, if you are giving them one. But I've been to a few where I was not a wedding party member and never expected anything like a favor.

As for centerpiece, I wouldn't go crazy. If the restaurant puts flowers in vases on tables normally, I would have them do that and maybe put a few more on just because it's a long table. If you want to do something fancier, that's totally up to you. Nothing is set in stone

I'm not doing favors, I am giving the bp gifts then, and I am doing centerpieces that I'm making myself.

I wasn't planning on giving favors at the rehearsal dinner...but I did purchase these cute conversation wedding heart candies...and don't know what the heck else I'm going to do with them...so I'm wrapping them in tulle and placing them at each plate setting.

No centerpieces...I'm not even bothering to ask if the restaurant will have any flowers on the table.
