(Relatively) Inexpensive Hair

Anyone have any recommendations?
I am getting ready and married in Nassau.

I want my hair half up, no tiara.

It just seems sooooo expensive

What about Hair By Diana? She did a great job on me... I think it was $150. She's a vendor on here.

No, it's not, BUT in my experince, it was very low end, considering what a lot of others charge... I mean a BM is $75.... it didn't make much sence to me why I was so much more... but now that I think of it... maybe I was $125. ALSO, a lot of people won't come out fo just the bride..... so....

Mine did hair and makeup at my Mom's house for $150. total. Mom is in Suffolk but I think she lives in Nassau. The salon she works at is in Sayville.

If you want to give her a try, FM me.

i am using diana...i am THRILLED with her and it's only been a trial so far!

a salon would be cheaper possibly if you are marrying on a sat. no earlier than say 1 ish...cause if it's a sunday, they likely won't be open or open that early and they'll charge you for it.

also, diana has no minimum...you don't have to get 6 BMs to agree to it...she'll do just your hair.

Some salons will open early for a wedding party (they may charge a little more).

I used Creative Hair Designs by April (she's a vendor on this site). I think I paid $135 and she came to my house and did my hair and all my bms hair.

I am using Mya from Cosmetic Artistry (a vendor here) - I am paying $100 for my hair and $65 for BM.

Re: (Relatively) Inexpensive Hair

FYI- I contacted Cactus Salon to see how much it would cost to open at 6am for me and 4BM, I was told we needed to pay $150 per attendant that needed to come in, DUe to the amt of people, needed 2 hair stylist and 1 mU

total was 450

Needless to say I am still looking

Other salons intially were going to charge 25 surcharge per person but are not willing to open earlier than 7:30am
