Releasing White Doves POLL

I was thinking of doing that instead of throwing something but there is always the danger of bird 'doo-doo'. It sounds like a nice thing to do though, different right?

I voted 'no' because I get nervous about how these vendors might treat the animals. Honestly, I don't really know much about it -- just a feeling I have.

I say no, but my opinion may not count. I personally am afraid of birds so it would really bother me for them to fly anywhere near me. I would also be concerned over whether they're treated humanly. I guess it's an ok idea, just not for me. JMHO

I voted 'no' because I went to a wedding where they did this and it was HORRIBLE!

It was raining out, so the birds wouldn't fly out of the basket, so the guy started grabbing them and chucking them in the air.

So, then they took flight and took off with a pack of pigeons. We were all laughing our a$$es off!

OMG!!! Wow and here I was just worrying about poop... yeah it was just a thought but I didnt even think about it fully.

I voted yes. I love the idea I think it is soooo romantic. It gives a really nice and different effect. I am having them for my wedding. The company we are using said they feed them once a day and at night so they most likely wont go to the bathroom at the time of your wedding.

I voted No. Its just to messy in so many ways, the animal cruelty, the poop, what if they hit someone/ thing. I just don't like it. JMO.

My cousin did this at his wedding. It lasted all of two seconds - they released the doves, one pooped on a guest, and they landed on the roof of the church and just sat there. Not worth the money in my opinion. I voted no.
