Tomorrow afternoon on Channel 11 from 1-3pm there is going to be a reunion show and 2 original episodes! I loved that show when I was a kid. It brings back memeories of going to kindergarten and coming home to watch it. They had a clip on the news the other night and Fh and I were singing the songs like time never lapsed! Just wanted to let everyone know!

IrishTracy ..... I have been meaning to ask my friends who have kids , but I keep forgetting to, what exactly are The Wiggles? I had to buy a videotape to give to a 2 year old with The Wiggles.

Re: Remember The Magic Garden TV show?
Magic Garden: Still Growing 60 min. The Big Apple kids' show from the 1970s and '80s is introduced to a new generation of viewers in this nostalgic hourlong retrospective. Original hosts Carole Demas and Paula Janis recall their experiences performing on the program, which ran on WPIX-Ch. 11 from March 1972 to September 1984. The episodes featured songs by Demas and Janis (who also played guitar) and segments in which the stars interacted with Sherlock, a squirrel puppet. Also on hand: the Chuckle Patch flowers, a thicket of daisies that laughed at the hosts' jokes. The segments incorporate clips from the original series and comments from area viewers, who share their own memories of the show.

Re: Remember The Magic Garden TV show?
Not sure about the names of the Magic Garden but someone mentioned Marianne. Ms Maryanne was the name of the original woman who did Romper Room (before Ms Molly)....

You dont know how many times I think of the Magic Garden and cant remember the name of the show !!!! But I do rmember vividly how Carol and Paula look !!!! If memory serves me correctly, Paula was brunette, and Carol was blond, and I think Carol always had her hair in 2 ponytails (not braided)

Re: Remember The Magic Garden TV show?
My FH is making me tape it. He sang a whole song with hand gestures and everything. I've never heard of the show. Must have been a local thing.
