removing paint from iron railing

anyone know a good way to do this, we've scraped a lot off the top, but we need some kind of remover.

I would go to Home Depot or a local hardware store. They would be able to point you in the right direction.

yeah i figured...i already looked on the web site, just wondering if anyone had any suggestions that worked well.

Try a steel brush.

I would recommend paint stripper in the form of a gel, available at your local home improvement store. The true way to remove paint from steel/iron rails is to sandblast it off. While I understand that is impracticle unless the item can be taken to a local steel shop.
