yes, its a beautiful name!! i used to hate it when i was younger, don't know why. Then i loved it. I still do. I just HATE HATE HATE being called Stacy!! (no offense to any stacy's but i have a problem with stacy's) or when people insist on putting an 'e' in my name.
HEY!! I have an 'E' in mine!!!!
I have nothing against the 'e' itself :) , i just don't like people assuming things. Or when people I KNOW and am CLOSE with spell it that way.

I soooo know how you feel!!!! In my case people (family members mind you) forget the 'e'. It annoys the cr*p out of me!!!!

When I was little I always wanted to be Paige.
I like my name now... there aren't too many Cheryl's out there and I feel just a bit unique.
How funny is this... my dad was watching Charlie's Angels... and loved Cheryl Ladd... so that 's where I got my name! How 70's is that!

I like my name -- Sandra but it drives me nuts when people call me SOndra!!! Grrrr it's SAndra.... or worse yet SAUNdra.. no offense to any Sondra's it's just the WAY they say it!!
Anyway, when I was little I always want to be Alexandra (I know, similar) so that I could be called 'Alex' ... I always liked that boy nickname thing too...

You should start spellign your name Xandra to throw people.
I like my name--Heather, but I hate when people call me Heath. I went through a phase where I wanted to be Alexendra too. But now that I thin about it, that was boring too.

I'd name myself a pretty girly name. I HATE Eileen. Maybe Emma or I always loved Ashleigh. Or Talia. Hmmmm.. Maybe I should keep these as a list for when I have kids!

That's the episode where Phoebe goes to change her last name after marrying Mike and the guy tells her she can change it to anything she wants. So she picked Princess Consuela Bananahammock. Then Mike decided if she was doing that he'd be Crap Bag.

What does that name mean? How do you pronounce it? What significance does it have? I've always wondered.

Re: rename urself
When I was younger I wanted the name Allegra. Now because of the allergy drug, I wouldn't name a daughter Allegra.
I think after all of the childhood teasing, I have grown to love my name.
How many Juliet's do you know?

I love my name..it is fab and it flows. When I was little I wanted people to call me Purple, lol. I guess if I was changing it today I would be a Jordan.
