Renate's Bridal in Lindenhurst? (How are their alterations?)

Hi there-
I think I'm going to order my bridesmaid dresses from Renate's in Lindenhurst.

Has anyone gotten their dresses there and had them altered there?

I bought my wedding gown at David's Bridal, but I'm not going to get it altered there. I'm hoping some LIWeddings gals will give me positive feedback about Renate's alterations so I can feel comfortable asking them to alter my wedding gown.

They're very nice in there. I'm just paranoid about having my wedding gown altered!

just checking to see if any of today's lunchtime crowd has had any experience with Renate's alterations?

their service so far has been quite nice. But nervous about alterations (as I would be with any place).

I actually kind of know the seamstress there.. She is a friend of an old coworker of mine and she actually altered my wedding gown. I was very happy

I got a dress there for my friends wedding (I was in the wedding party), and they do great work, my only suggestion is that you tell them that you wedding is a week or 2 before the actual date. 3 out of 4 of us did not have our dresses until the day before. Actually I went at 10am to pick up my dress, and I still had to go back at 4pm to get it because it was not ready at 10am. That was one of the only things that stressed out my friend for the wedding. The alterations were great, but they cut it down to the very last minute. They really are very nice in there, and I am sure they do not do that all the time (it was probably a bad day or week or whatever), but it was very scary that 3 of us did not have our dresses until the day before the wedding.
