Rennaisance of Astoria

Has anyone used them or been there for a wedding? am looking for actual people that have been there thanks!

I haven't been to a wedding there but I did meet with them when I was looking for a RH. I liked the fact that they customize the menu to fit different cultures. The dance floor is unique (circular) and the BM and the lady who handles the flower were very nice.

I went to check them out around 2 months ago and they looked closed down. I also left them several voicemails and they never called me back. I would give them a call to see if they actually answer you before visiting them.

FH and I went to check them out a few weeks back. I called several times to make an appoinment but did not get a return call. We were in the area one Saturday afternoon so we stopped by. All the doors were locked. I rang the intercom and a female answered but I couldn't hear what she was saying. Thought someone would come out so we waited 5 minutes, then rang again. Again, we couldn't understand what she was saying and then she just stopped answering us. We called and got the machine, left a message saying we were OUTSIDE and wanted to view the place for catering.

After 15 minutes we left, and no one ever returned the call.

my cousin had her food wedding there and they were not pleased esp with the food

FH and I were seriously considering it. The location is convenient for us, but FH didnt like the parking situation (no lot) and a party larger than 160 needs to be broken up (upstairs/downstairs). Also, when looking for reviews, they are just too hard to find!! We did not want to be the venturous ones and take the chance. sorry this is little help to you.

Butttt...they are having a food tasting feb 27. zhanna is the banquet manager. she has been there 4 years. i have her mobile # if you want it, FM me.
