I just want to use 1 for a few months and don't want to spend $1000+ on one. I get home too late to go to the gym so I thought renting one would be the next best thing.
Anyone ever heard of this?

now thats a good idea! i asked FH last night if he thought it was a good idea to buy one... I have a gym membership but never can drag myself there one I get home from work...
he of course said I was crazy bc we are moving into a new condo with a gym in about 6 months
i would LOVE to rent one. I bet we could get rich renting workout equipment. We could go set it up and take it down etc. Could make a killing ...

I havent heard of it- but thats a great idea- i would definately buy one but who knows where we will be living and if we'll have enough room- if you find someplace that does this, let us know

What if you look on craigs list? Or buy one and then sell it to another LIW bride? Hahaha it'd be funny if a few LIW brides chipped in to split the cost, and each used it for 2 months or something.
FH and I bought an elliptical and it's great. I still don't use it as much as I probably should but I hate going to the gym and it's definitely worth the money. We have it set up facing our big flatscreen with a DVR, we don't need to leave the apt to use it, and I never have to wait for a machine!
