Rental info

I posted this question on the vendor board but no one seems to know the answer!!!
Our caterer does not provide china/flatware. We're going to rent plates-2 sizes-dinner and salad, forks, knives and teaspoons.
We're having a cocktail hour, buffet dinner and dessert for approx. 130 guests. Does anyone know how many plates, forks, etc. I should rent?
I know this is an odd question but my FH and I are stumped.
Any advice would be great!!

Your caterer should be able to give you advice on the number of pieces to rent. It's so hard to estimate. Good luck!

That's the big problem-both the caterer and the rental company gave us different numbers. 1 said to rent about 50% more than the number of guests and the other said we might want to rent triple the amount of guests.
Just wondering if anyone else has encounter this issue!!
