Rented a cottage in the Poconos? or any place like that?

Rented a cottage in the Poconos? or any place like that?

My DH and I were thinking of renting a place in the Poconos or VT, really we're open to anything, for the week of Sept 25th.

This is new to us though, has anyone done this before?

or does anyone know someone renting their ski house during off season?


Any info or suggestions would be great!!!! THANKS!

A group of 20 of us rent houses in Big Bass Lake in Gouldsboro, PA. It's about 20 minutes past Camelback.
We love it up there. DH's cousin lives in the community also so we've been there in the fall and the leaves are amazing.

years ago, a bunch of us rented a house in Bushkill, PA. I remember we found it on the internet and it was really affordable.

Ceasar's in Pocono I heard is really nice and is for couple's.

This is where we got engaged at... a little bit of $$$ but well worth it as they provide you meals and alot of entertainment.

We used to rent a house at the Hideout in Hamlin, Pennsylvania.

It is a nice resort & the town around it is cute. From what I remember the prices were $350 - $1000 for the weekend, and $800 - $2500 for a full week.

If you google it, then there you will get a listing of available rentals....like: vacationhomes.com

how about this place - not exactly a house but it looks beautiful.

or this place dh and i are thinking abot this for a quiet weekend - looks really stunning - like the fireplace and the double whirlpool tub
