renters insurance

okay its been a year and DH and I havn't gotten it yet!! Anyone know who will give renters insurance to Long Beach? I heard there is very few companies that will do it...

OMG i've been trying, my ring is still not insured!!!! If you find someone that gives you a quote in LB can you tell me too!

I was getting ridiculous quotes for this by the way when I called around.

I've been using All State, I had a plan through Geico that was too pricey. Just call your local All State agent. I'd give you my broker's number but he's in NJ, I only pay like $130 a year for tons of coverage

Do you live in Long Beach? I know it is so difficult to get it there they require so much because of the location and the risk...it is so annoying!

I made a few calls a few months ago and people said that they dont insure long beach and sounded like I was crazy. LOL. but someone has to do it!! There are so many rentals there!

then get a seperate policy. Mine is through Chubb but there is a company where you can do it all through the mail. I will find out the name of it for you.

FYI - your ring may not be covered if you add to parents policy - you must reside at their home in order to do so....I am an insurance broker so please feel free to fm me with any questions ladies
