Renting a House

Does anyone have resources for finding a house on the beach to rent?

I began my search out in the Hamptons but found that the prices go through the roof (in the tens of thousands for a week!!!!) So...I want to stay away from the Hamptons...we live on an Island so there must be other towns that rent beach houses?

Maybe try Long Beach, but I don't know about for the week

Are you looing to rent a house for your wedding? If you are looking to live.. try Atlantic Beach, Long Beach or Lido Beach or even Shelter Island

Go to cyberrentals .com. If you are planning to have the actual reception at the home it is going to be very expensive. If you just want to rent a home for guests you can get a better deal. Also,keep in mind homes on the water don't usually have a great deal of property.Hope I helped.Best wishes!

Then definately go to cyberrentals. The reason it is so much is because anyhting remotely close to memorial day in a resort town is considered 'in season' Cyberrentals is a great resource. I am sure you will find what you need there.

cyberrentals only seems to have houses in the hamptons. does anyone know of any other websites/resources....thanks.
