Hey ladies, I'm very much in the budget mindset of saving all the money I can on my wedding (I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about ) So one of my cousins rented her dress and got a beautiful wedding gown for a fraction of the cost and I wanted to do that here too. Only problem is I'm having an incredibly hard time finding a place on Long Island that rents wedding gowns. If any of you know of a place or know of something near by I would LOVE to find out about it. Thank you so much!

Re: Renting a wedding dress?
Some of the shops in Flushing rent wedding dresses. WeddingOne, Eternal, Wedding Box, etc. These vendors are mentioned occasionally in the Chinese Brides and Asian Brides threads. When I talked to them, rental was discussed as part of a total photography, makeup, etc. package, but they might be able to do something a la carte as well.

Re: Renting a wedding dress?
I understand that you are being budget conscience as many of us are ...
However are you sure want to rent your dress? I know a girl who did this and in the end regretted it. There are so many places you can get dresses for not a lot of money at all. David's bridal has dresses for $100 and under. Other stores don't carry dress that are over $1500 (I don't know what your particular budget is) but there are other alternatives to renting.
