Is it possible to rent a navy blazer and tan dress pants for the groomsman to wear? We wanted to have them wear that, but I am worried it is too much to ask for them to buy a tie, blazer, pants, and shoes for the wedding. Help!

hm, not sure about renting those outfits... you're def not the first to do this, so maybe if you call a tux place they can refer you to someone else?
Also- these are all pretty basic items. I wouldn't worry about asking the guys to buy it (don't us girls always have to pay for our bridesmaid dresses?!?!)
Maybe buy them the ties as a gift.

my FSIL did this and my FH bought the outfit.
if you are worried about $$, why don't you tally up how much the outfit will cost and ask the GM to pay X amount (say the same amount to rent a tux) and you and FH pay for the rest in form of a gift (this is what i am doing with my BM). this way, they walk away with something 're-wearable' and only pay what they would have paid to rent a tux!

our GM's are buying the blazers and pants we are paying for the shirts and ties. don't feel bad about asking them to buy the blazers, unlike many if the BM dresses, they are definte wear agains and always in style.
