Renting table cameras?

Renting table cameras?

I had never thought of this but just saw an article from hitchny.com. They had a site listed rental cameras It's an interesting idea since I don't always hear good things about the quality of disposable cameras. Has anyone used this company? Or done rental cameras? Please let me know how it turned out!

I have never heard of them but it sounds like a great idea. The price point seems a bit high if you already have a professional photographer.

I would be really worried about guests walking off with the cameras though

ETA - for the price of renting 15 regular cameras you could hire a digital photographer for the day

I guess I fell for the comparison they have online and thought it was comparable to disposables. Oh well!

I wouldn't use them. it seems like a good idea, but what if a camera (or 2) gets dropped on the floor and breaks?

you would obviously be liable. and also, if someone has 'sticky fingers'....

ETA: holy cow! they are expensive!

5 cameras — $249
10 cameras — $498
15 cameras — $747
20 cameras — $995

I would rather hire a 2nd photographer.
