I just went to Men's Warehouse and was surprised they don't have any inventory on hand to look at. Everything for rent is in a catalog?
Is that normal? I want to be able to see and feel the tux my FH & groomsmen are gonna wear!
Or is that too much to ask?
Are other tux rental places similar?
BTW, I only chose Men's Warehouse 'cus I went to the Great Bridal Expo and sign up for the $59 tux deal (you get to pick from tuxes that cost up to $99) and the Groom's tux is FREE, and you can pick any tux for him. Can't beat that.

That is because the Men's Wearhouse is mostly a clothing store and the tux part is a small part of it. I also would have liked to see the tuxes in person...and have better service, but they were the best for having people all over the country get tuxes.

Suzanne, so you would recommend them? I'm just skeptical about having only 2 days before the wedding to go pick the tuxes up. What if they mess up with the measuring, we'll be screwed!

I would recm'd trying on tuxes and not ordering from a catalogue. I would try other tux places.

you should try them on...FH looked VERY different in different types of tuxes. we wound up going with dante zeller in westbury. they'll order in anything they don't have in stock so you can see a finished look.

If all of the people renting tuxes are local, I would go somewhere else. But, they do have the tuxes come in two days early so that in case there IS a problem they can have it corrected the next day.
I would be more at ease with a place that has other tuxes on hand so that in an emergency they can swap in something else they have right in the store.

i would check someplace else, maybe they have the tuxes you are interested in to look at and then order them from men's warehouse

yes....we have OOT GM and we went with Men's Wearhouse for that reason. They explained to us that if the tuxes are wrong, they have enough time to either fix it while you wait or have another one fedex'ed overnight.
