Replacing doors - is this a reasonable price?

About a month ago we had all of the windows upstairs replaced. We decided to get our doors downstairs replaced now too and called the same people back. We own a Levitt cape and are having 2 doors replaced. The front door (and screen) and the side door (and screen). The total price we were quoted just seems high to me (more than the 6 windows upstairs - granted I know the doors themselves are more). The estimate was $3250. Is that reasonable?

does that price include the frame?

Yes, that does include the frame.

I think the price sounds reasonable depending on the type of door you choose. I got my front and back door changed over the winter and the front door we chose was pricey - if I remember correctly the front door (with frame) was about 2500 alone.

It all depends on the type and brand of door. Marvin hurricane rated french doors are about 6k each and andersons range anywhere from 1k and up. The labor though is basically the same. I feel that quote was high without knowing the manufactures name. You may be better off having the doors delivered to your home and hiring a contractor to put them in.
