My FH wants this for christmas. Its the same concept as Tivo but I have never heard of it. He says that It comes with the membership rather then the Tivo which u have to signup and pay for the membership. Anyone have this? Anyone know where I could get it?

Re: Replay TV??
No DTV. He works for Cablevision. So we get FREE EVERYTHING. Hes actually afraid that he will get this and in January Cablevision will release a new box just like DTV did.

Re: Replay TV??
I have a ReplayTV. It is not as popular as Tivo, but it works great. Mine is pretty old and has served me well even though the technolgy has been sold twice (each time after the company owning it went bankrupt!). I don't know their current pricing plan, but it'll either be a one-time fee with lifetime TV listing updates, or a monthly subscription fee. Best place to research has to be at Replay's website. In terms of where to buy, try a froogle search.
I can't compare Tivo to Replay, but in the past, Replay has had a bunch of interesting features that Tivo hasn't.
